  1. My daughter, Alissa, wanted a special and unique quilt for her freshman-year dorm bed. We shopped everywhere finally finding it on your website last August. We purchased the quilt and pillow sham ( a salmon-colored damask pattern). She has received many, many compliments on her “shabby sheek” quilt over the past year. She is now a big fan of the Moxii website and would love to add to her dorm room for sophomore year. She puts a lot of thought into the design and decor of her room – more so than most college girls. Her quilt, by the way, turned out to be truly unique since she has not seen it anywhere at her school (Loyola Univ. Maryland). It washed well and has proven to be a wise purchase. Your products are great quality AND fun!!

  3. I am nomianting my 11 year old daughter Isabelle Grace. Isabelle has struggled all her life with physical difficulties and has never complained. Most recently she has been in the hospital for the past 4 months sick with no diagnosis or relief. We just recently brought her home- and after 4 months in the hospital is so happy to be home- but she still is sick. We set up a room for her downstairs but it’s not the same as her own room upstairs. We are trying to make it as cheery as possible for her. Because she spends a lot of time there. She is one of the sweetest kids I know- who takes everything in stride and handles it with such grace- which is also her middle name. I would love to see her win so that we could make her happy and bring a smile to her face. :)

  4. My daughter, Lacey, her husband John and one year old beautiful daughter Ella Clare have just built a home. They have been renting and saving for a year for this and it has finally gotten here! Lacey has great taste, but has just accepted and begun a new job at Earth Fare. She is their Community Relations Coordinator, so you can imagine how busy she has been. They were opening the store the same day they closed on their home! Anyway, she has been a real trooper about it all, but loves for her home to be like something out of a magazine. She loves Moxii, in fact she and I both have been to your store and bought things. Moxii is really her “style”. She would love nothing better at this time in her life than the prize you are giving away.
Thank you for considering her for this honor!

    Sincerely and with crossed fingers,

    Lynn Sumners

  5. I would like to nominate the Big House Foundation of Lee County, Al. because they see first hand the needs of so many children, without anything. Can you imagine the face of the child that would receive a bedding set from Moxii? I do not personally know the needs of these children but I am sure that the management could pick a child to brighten their day! Or maybe even several children and spread whatever they could get for $500 from a generous company like Moxii! Thank you for giving to the community and those in need, God Bless You!

  6. I would like to nominate my wife as the winner of the Moxil bedding. I accidentally came across the giveaway when I opened her facebook page thinking it was mine. She loves your bedding and is always showing me new styles. We moved in to our home 5 years ago and our bedroom is one of the last rooms left to be decorated. She did not want to spend time or money on the master bedroom until she finished our daughter’s nurseries. Unfortunately, she gets debilitating migraines and is currently battling a long and frustrating battle with this disease. She spends so much more time in the bed when her headaches get bad. I would love for her to at least feel more comfortable during this time by resting in more a pleasing and luxurious environment.

  7. hi Brian, Thanks for your nomination. To be considered for the giveaway, please email us your response at contest@moxii.com.

  8. I would like to nominate my daughter Meghan. She graduated from college 1 year ago where she worked two jobs and complete her degree in Interior Design with a minor in Art History. Meghan has great taste and was extremely excited about her career path and then the ecomony took a turn for the worst and she could only find a job in retail. She took the job with the hopes of being able to transfer into the visual department. She and her boyfriend became engaged and he is trying to complete his masters degree. He did not have money for a wedding ring so we worked out a plan by using some family jewerly that I had. They are getting married 10/9/10 and it has been quite a struggle for us since we live 5 hours apart. It seems that they have had to struggle in all areas of there lives up to this point due to not being able to get jobs in their chosen career paths. Both are very well educated and a very eco friendly couple. He rides on bicyles tours and Meg has a photography hobby. Both of them are choosing to follow the traditional path by not moving in together before marriage. Which has been a difficult choice since money was extremely tight. They rented a house but Meghan lives in the house alone while Kyle is sleeping on a friends sofa until the day of the wedding. They are a very strong confident couple in their choices and are working very hard to do all the right things. I am very proud of Meghan since she is working very hard to complete her degree and is working in retail with not much hope of things changing. She works for Anthropologie and he fiance is a tudor for a school and also works at a bicycle shop while completing his masters degree.
