Design Tip: Holiday Mantles

When it comes to dragging out those Christmas garlands and having to remember how you got everything to fit last year, it can get complicated. Moxii wants to give you some new ideas for next year when it comes to those somewhat frustrating mantles. There’s not an exact science to mantle decor, although the goal is universal: Christmas Glow + bundles of decorations. Not every house is the same, and every style carries its own personality, so we’ve found some ideas for your mantles that are sure to bring an extra pop to your Christmas decorating this year! There are several very different styles going on in these examples. The first being the very crisp combination of the White + Blue with the mirrors on the mantle. You might want to reserve this idea for a white fireplace and white walls, but don’t be scared to try other combinations with white! You can also simplify things using Decorative Christmas Balls and no garland! We also love the chic garden look above with the green plaid bow and the cute planted shrubs. Sometimes, definitely in this case, less is more! And we can’t forget the great ensemble above that replaces the garland with the plaid blanket,  the stocking with the gloves, and great holiday snow globes, skates, sleds, and pictures of the family!
